After-school program for Goddard Space Flight Center. Formative and summative evaluation of an afterschool astronomy program for middle school students using participant and facilitator pre/post surveys as well as site observations and interviews to measure program effectiveness in improving participant interest in science.
The Parenting Institute of North Carolina’s community-based child abuse prevention program. Designed and managed a multi-year evaluation of a parenting education program. The mixed-method evaluation included pretest and posttest surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
National Children, Youth, and Families at Risk community improvement program. Supervised the comprehensive evaluation of a five-year, multi-site project designed to improve the lives of at-risk children, youth, and families.
”Beating the Odds” program for Monticello Albermarle County Community Association in Charlottesville, Virginia. Conducted a case study of participants in a preventative pregnancy, after-school program. Designed a formative and summative evaluation using both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
